Prerequisites to Configure Breakpoints

You can perform the following checks for setting Breakpoints for system and application events. Receive the following details from CA InterTest:

• Name of the program
• Breakpoint type which may be conditional, unconditional, data-change, or request type
• Statement number

After performing these checks, you can start a debug process.

The InterTest batch or CICS debugger will set a breakpoint at the first statement of the program. You can perform the following actions using the InterTest batch or CICS debugger:

• Add conditional or unconditional breakpoints at any statement of the program listing
• View data in any of the Program Listing Editor windows
• Review a program listing before resuming to the next statement
