Set Startup Preferences

You can set the startup preferences for CA InterTest using the Preferences dialog.

To set startup preferences for CA InterTest

1. Select Window, Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog opens.

2. Expand General and select Startup and Shutdown.

   The Preferences dialog opens the Startup and Shutdown page.

3. Change the default settings for the following fields to suit your needs:
   • Prompt for workspace on startup

     Starts a debug project automatically when you open the CA InterTest main window.

     Default: On

   • Refresh workspace on startup

     Reloads the default settings when you open the CA InterTest main window.

     Default: Off

   • Confirm exit when closing last window

     Lets you cancel an exit action and save all changes by displaying a confirm message.

     Default: On

   • Plug-ins activated on startup

4. Click Apply to save the settings.
5. Click OK.

   CA InterTest saves the changes and closes the Preferences dialog. The changes are used in all succeeding debug sessions unless you change the preferences again.

Note: You can restore the default configuration settings anytime on the Preferences dialog. To restore the default settings, click Restore Defaults, click Apply, and then click OK.
